Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital, a partnership between Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health and Universal Health Services, Inc., aligns high quality care, knowledge and resources to enable us to positively change behavioral healthcare in south central Pennsylvania.
Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital is the only freestanding psychiatric hospital in Lancaster County. We treat each person who seeks our treatment with dignity and respect and believe that recovery is possible for every person in our care. Each person works with an individualized treatment team to create a plan of care that can encompass all aspects of healing and recovery.

Our Adult treatment programs provide a stable, nurturing and therapeutic environment for adults needing crisis stabilization.
Adolescent Services
Our Adolescent Suite is a dedicated, structured environment for teens who are dealing with mental health disorder symptoms.
Adult Intensive Care
The Intensive Treatment Suite provides 24-hour care for adults with major psychiatric disorders or those who have decreased capacity for self-control.
Psychiatric Medical Care
This specialty program is designed for adults with major psychiatric disorders and concurrent medical conditions that may require additional specializations.
Adult Outpatient Services
Our Part-Time Outpatient Mental Health program offers treatment in the evening for adults while allowing them to maintain their daily routines.
